ColorPro Help
ColorPro Create and edit color palettes

Manage the palettes using the palette list, use the default (ColorPro) palettes, import/export ACO files. Select colors for the palettes from built in color pickers: RGB/HSL Color Picker or Sliders Color Picker or Color Wheel Picker, convert chip(s) to Web Safe, export individual chips or entire palette to RGB or HEX or Web Safe, play with color chip with/height inside the palette, manually edit the color chip using RGB or HEX mode, have the palette restored to initial color chip color information after modifying it.

Acquire color palettes from:

    - Web Page - simply select the address you want in the Address combo box at the top and press "Go New Tab As" -> "WEB PAGE". Once in a web page you can continue browsing to other web pages and have their palettes shown in the palette combo box.

    - File - simply select the address you want in the Address combo box at the top and press "Go New Tab As" -> "FILE". This will construct the colors from the file. The current recognized color formats are those usually found in a CSS file: rgb, hex and known color:

            - rgb :RGB(255,0,0)

            - hex:   #2FAFFC

            - known color: red, green, yellow, blue, aqua, cyan etc . The known colors are the ones from the "All Named Colors" ColorPro palette.

    - Image - simply select the address you want in the Address combo box at the top and press "Go New Tab As" -> "IMAGE". This will generate the palette for that image.

Color Web Pages by simple click of a mouse button. Set the color for text, background or border top/bottom/left/right of any element in the page. Lock any HTML element in the web page and change the color for text, background or border top/bottom/left/right only on that element using the sliders color picker. This is very useful when you want to view different ways of how a web page could look like in different colors. Then you can save the original (unmodified) web page as well as the modified (colored) page. You can use the Refresh button to refresh the current page so you can start over.

Select colors using one of the color pickers. The color picker can be invoked also when the ColorPro application is in the Windows tray: simply press the CTRL+SHIFT+I shortcut key. You can set this shortcut to any other key combination you like.

Magnify portions of your screen using the Magnifier window. The magnifier window can be also invoked by simply pressing the CTRL+SHIFT+M default key combination. You can set this shortcut to any other key combination you like.

Important Things To Know

You can use the top left button to hide the top ColorPro menu and showing a smaller version of this menu. Then you can press the same button () again to show the bigger ColorPro menu.

While in a web page window ("Go New Tab" as "WEB PAGE") you can either press the ALT+D shortcut to activate the top address combo box or press the ALT+S shortcut to activate the lower address combo box.

When opening a web page in a new tab you can start that page magnifier (from the Magnifier tab). You can do this for as many web pages you want but because of  performance considerations try to close the magnifier of a web page when you don't need it anymore.

You can use the ColorPro forum to comment or request new application features. These will be carefully analyzed and implemented in the next ColorPro version.
