It would be great to calibrate in metric and have a small display of ft/inches or Visa versa.

That's a nice idea, but I'm not sure if it would benefit all of our users. Currently you can switch units by simply selecting a new one from the menu, and I'm not sure that adding another readout to the user interface would always help.
