I can't seem to get the Adobe plugin to automatically load. I'm running Vista Ultimate with Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0 (trial version) and Reader 8.0.

Thanks for posting, currently the installer does not work on version 8 of Acrobat, which we will fix in the next release. As a manual fix you can copy this file:

C:\Program Files\Screen Calipers 4.0\Acrobat\Calipers.api

To here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Reader\plug_ins\Calipers.api

Then restart Acrobat and the toolbar will show up in Acrobat.

I am having the same issue, I have done the above but am using Adobe 10

I am getting the error message:

"There was a problem with the calipers. Please reinstall and try again"

I have reinstalled but to no avail.

Try copying the plugin to the Abobe 10 folder

I tried that as well

This should be noted in a prominent place on the website, not hidden in a little-used forum. I've had screen calipers for several years and just stumbled on this fix today by accident when googling for something else.
