Is there a way to open the caliper properties dialogue or Calibration Units dialogue from the command line, the keyboard or with a script? We have found such an option.

A useful feature would the option ro paste a single numeric value, including decimal readout accuracy, into the calipers which would set the current calibration of pixels to readout value.

Currently no. You could use our SDK to add or change a unit though, so that's an option.
