Hey. well, first thanks for this very useful tool. i use it A LOT! and that's why i got to a problem. i wanted to do a backup of my palettes so i wont loose them (cuz sometimes, it doesnt save). Is there a way? (i checked the xml and it had only the default palettes)
Just copy xml doc. to save info.
Open xml doc in notepad after adding a new colors.
New plaettes are found at the top listed by hex value.
I've been trying to figure this out too, resorted to using process monitor (sysinternals tool) to see where colorpic.exe was reading/writing files and tracked it down to:
C:\Users\%your_username_here%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\ColorPic 5.1\palettes.xml
