ColorPic will not work at all to grab colors

The grab command does not work at all in any capacity on my Windows xp.  Will only bring up find windows find command.  There seems to be no other way to "pick" or grab the color.  If there is any other way to save or grab the color please tell me.

It does grab colors in Vista. I click Ctrl + G and it doesn't do anything.

First choose the unit under CHIPS group. Move th mouse over screen but don't click! It works only while ColorPic window is active!
Press CTRL+G to grab color under the mouse pointer.

ColorPic will not work at all to grab colors

HI
ColorPic not working. Impossible to keep the chosen color.
Keyboard shortcuts are already used by my navifgateur or my operating system.
Ctrl + G opens the search window of Google Chrome, and Ctrl + C or Ctrl + O opens other window operating system.
I use a Samsung laptop, Windows Vista updates, and my browser is Google Chrome up to date.
I was forced to remove ColorPic because it does not work.
Too bad because it is a handy utility.
