Removing the Magnifier isn't the issue.  There's an icon that looks like a magnifier that keeps appearing.  If you click on it , it takes you to a site related to what you're viewing.  i.e. viewing comics. The magnifier icon appears with links to other comics.  How do I get rid of this Ad program with an icon that looks like a magnifier.  I think it was done that way on purpose to add to the confusion.

Never mind, I think I figured it out.  I  changed my security settings.  I went to Internet Properties and changed my Privacy setting to Medium High.  That seems to have stopped that icon from showing up.
