1. Make it so the readout on the various tools can be located elsewhere on the screen. Often, the 'body of the tool obscures what is being measured.

4. For the Protractor, again, have an option for getting rid of the 'body'
of the Protractor and place the readout and other controls somewhere else in a separately dragable feature on the screen. Just have the thin lines and handle for the actual measurement.

5. Have the ability to separate the two Protractor lines. That way it's much easier to measure angles between two lines where there is no vertex on the screen.

Again, use sticky points to attach/locate the protractor lines on surfaces or edges.
