Opacity, not Transparency!
When I click the Transparency option in Screen Calipers 4 a window labelled "Transparency" pops up with a small scale from 0 to 100%.
When the pointer is set to "100%", Screen Calipers is completely *opaque*, not transparent! In other words, the scale is an opacity scale, not a transparency scale.
The simplest way to fix this IMO would be to add the label "Transparent" over the LH end of the scale, and "Opaque" over the RH end of the scale.

Technically I do think you're correct, although we probably won't make a patch for such a small change.
