FAQ: Compile errors when using Right$() function

An "expected array" or "type-declaration character does not match declared data type" compile error is generated when using the Right() or Right$() function.

The Right alignment constant, defined in the UniToolbox type library, is in conflict with the VBA Right() function.

Workaround:
Qualify the function with its library name, for example VBA.Right() or VBA.Right$().
