FAQ: Characters repeat uncontrollably on Windows 2000

Entering Chinese or some other East Asian language characters into a UniText or UniCombo on Windows 2000, using certain IMEs can cause entered characters to repeat uncontrollably until the control's limit is reached, or the system's resources are exhausted. This problem occurs if the system concerned contains a certain fix for the system edit control, issued in HotFix KB835732 and others.

This problem was resolved in version 1.0.3.20 of UniToolbox. Please download the latest UniToolbox distribution package from our download page.
