FAQ: Runtime error 458 when using UniToolboxVB at design-time

Why do I get a runtime error using unicode VBCommand button? I start a new VB6 project. Place the command button on a form Press "Custom" on the Command Buttons property window and I get "Runtime error 458 variable use an automation type not supported in Visual Basic"

This message is appearing because the UniToolboxVB binary you are using is dependent upon the UniToolbox 1.0 control library, and this dependency is missing.

To solve this problem install the UniToolbox 1.0 controls. You may download the latest distibution from our download page.
