We're happy to announce the following update to UltimaCalc:

(1) The new version is compatible with Windows 7.

(2) UltimaCalc now officially runs only on Windows 7, Vista, and XP (32 bit and 64 bit). Earlier operating systems are no longer supported.

(3) The new version offers a "calculate as you type" facility. In this mode, when an expression is being entered, an attempt is made to evaluate it immediately after every change. If there is no error, the result is displayed. If the expression could not be evaluated, the results window is ghosted.
