My WindowsXP machine got set up so that a window is activated when the mouse moves into it. That mean I can't use ColorPik because it doesn't saty active when I move the mouse to a different window. I don't know how this got set, or more importantly how to unset it. Can anyone help? Bill

Just to wrap up this thread Bill did find the solution:

I found that Microsoft Tweak UI sets this under Mouse-X Mouse. This allows the X-Mouse style window activation, and since I used this system years ago I set up my Windows to be the same, but when I wanted to change it I couldn't remember how I had set it. Solved now and ColorPic solved my problem is setting the color I wanted. Thanks, Bill
