Any plans for Firefox?

Love this program! Thank you SO MUCH for making the best magnifier on the web a free resource for people with vision problems.

Since Firefox is becoming such a popular browser, I was wondering if you have any plans to make a version of EasyRead that would work with it?

I'm really glad you're enjoying EasyRead. Unfortunatly Firefox simply does not support the technology, I'd love to help, but the browser cannot magnify the page in the same way Intenet Explorer can.

What about Maxthon, considering that it is based on IE?

Thanks,

John

So many people have asked me this question!

We can't make EasyRead for Firefox, it doesn't support it unfortunatly.

With Maxthon I've tried emailling and calling them and they simply will not return my calls. I'd love to support their browser, but they won't get back to me to tell me how to integrate into their toolbars.

Sorry, that's the way it goes.

Thanks for such a speedy reply, Nico. Too bad about Firefox, but I understand.

There is an extension to increase and decrease text in Firefox. It is called Text Size Toolbar, and is available from the extension site. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/472/

there is a really simple way to magnify on firefox and on many other applications. it does not involve any install. works great if you have a mouse with a wheel.

just press the control key ( ctrl on keyboard ) and move the wheel forward or backward to zoom in or zoom out.

try it, it's really neat.
