Our Windows Color Picker tool has an inbuilt magnifier and allows you to save full palettes of colors.

Can someone tell me what ShellExec.exe (installed with ColorPic) is for or what it does?

Sure, it's simply for launching a link to the 'Getting Started' page after installing the software. After that it doesn't do anything. You can delete it if you wish.
