It would be nice to be able to export the current palette as a color table file (.act). That would make it so much easier to import to Photoshop et al.

A very interesting idea, we'll look into it on the next version.

The colors are generated to the palette.xml file - so at least there is a way to know what they are at a single glance. In PhotoShop, you can custom design colors, so knowing the numbers will allow you to recreate them exactly.
