WebTools Pro - IE only?

I use SlimBrowser, which runs on the IE engine. I am disappointed after purchasing WebTools Pro to find that I must use IE for the tool to work. May I suggest that the next version update include the ability to recognize SlimBrowser as it does IE.

Thanks.

Larry,

You're correct that WebTools Pro only currently works with Internet Explorer. This is because WebTools Pro must attach itself to the interfaces exposed by Internet Explorer. I'm currently unaware if SlimBrowser, or the similar MyIE2 supports external interfaces, but I will certainly try to talk to the vendors to see if supporting WebTools Pro is possible. It would be a great feature to have.

I'm sorry that your expectations of WebTools Pro were not met, especially as you may try WebTools Pro before you buy. I can of course offer you a full refund, please contact me off-list if you wish.

It would be simple to make work with slimbrowser and MyIE - not sure how you would go about your version check to ensure its not loaded straight up from the browser :) - but they both are pretty big into javascript bookmarklet like extensions, and webtool would fit very nicely into the side bar where they most often go (and I think it would be nice to be able to do this on it itself)

I looked into MyIE support a while back but found the online documentation a little lacking. Perhapse it's been updated since - I'll take another look when I get a chance.

Ya know - that last line was not supposed to say "it", it was supposed to be IE -- Meaning that as a side, or even bottom band I could find it much more useable instead of losing it all the time (even with the on top selected)

If you are interested in either - I can set up the browser band, I just dont want to do all that javascript work when someone else has already done it and it works great :)

Zach,

It would be great if you could set up a browser band, please contact me off-list and we can discuss it further.

Thanks again,

Nico.

I would like to purchase WebTools Pro but I need to use it with The World web browser (http://www.ioage.com/en/index.htm). Any chance you will offer support for that browser too?
Thank you.

I'm sorry but it's IE only, the other browsers simply don't allow integration.
