Disabling Tag along box

To disable any of the Tag along windows, please press the "Stop" button. This will also stop the line but if you press the "Start" button again, the line will be restarted without the Tag along windows.

Pressing the Stop button should stop any tag along window present.

Please make sure that you run the latest version of the application which is 2.8 and which can be downloaded from here:
http://www.iconico.com/lineReader/
by pressing the Download button.

If this doesn't fix the issue please quit Line Reader first. Quitting Line Reader is VERY important.

Then browse to the folder where Line Reader keeps its configuration files. If you're running Windows XP this folder would be something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\NAME_OF_YOUR_WINDOWS_ACCOUNT\Application Data\Iconico\LineReader
however if you're running Windows 7 then this folder is:
E:\Users\NAME_OF_YOUR_WINDOWS_ACCOUNT\AppData\Roaming\Iconico\LineReader\

For example in my case, the folder is:
E:\Users\Constantin\AppData\Roaming\Iconico\LineReader\

Once you've browsed to that folder, please find the file called
layoutSettings.file
and either delete the file (in which case you will loose all configuration settings for Line Reader) or edit the file. In case you delete the file, Line Reader will start with the default settings and no tag along window.

If you do not want to loose your configuration settings, edit the file and find the following option and make sure it is set to false:
TAG_ALONG_IMAGE_SHOW=False
After editing, don't forget to save the file.

Then you can start Line Reader again and the Tag along window you mention will not be activated.
